About the author...

Nate was born in North Yorkshire, but having spent most of his adult life in the south, finally settled in West Sussex with his wife Jules, and their three wonderful children.

He says that he is ‘regrettably devoid of any Yorkshire accent, having had it forcibly removed through ritual humiliation during a four-year stint at a London media agency’. He now, by his own admission, speaks with "a plum so faux I could quite fairly be accused of being the absolute antithesis of the violin virtuoso Nigel Kennedy."

He despairs that he spent far too many years of varied miserableness within the corporate business world, but now spends his time creating new characters, worlds, and stories to bring a smile, and sometimes a tear, to readers old and young, but above, to endeavour to entertain.

I read recently that common estimates suggest there are over 2 billion active websites out there in this complex web of the wide world, so it means a great deal to me that you have even visited my humble one.

It offers a literary micro-menagerie of my books, aimed at a range of ages, all of which I hope will offer at worst, a smattering of fun, enjoyment and satisfaction, and at best, a wholly positive and life changing experience. If nothing else, I hope you will feel that your time spent here has not been wasted.

And if you do have the inclination to buy one of the books, then seriously, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Oh, and please do let me know what you think, if what you think is kind, or flattering, or both. I would love to hear from you.
